White Trash Party Invitations

Invitations set the stage for your party, so be sure yours are on the tacky side. Here are a few ideas for some memorable white trash party invitations:

• Do It Yerself White Trash Bash Invitations -- First, cut your invitations from brown paper grocery bags (making sure the store logo shows on the back.) Then, write out your party information, being sure to use some misspellings, such as "dait", "tyme" and "playce". Finally, distress your invites a little by adding a beer ring or a few cigarette burns. Be sure to let your guests know that this will be a dress up affair.

• Newspaper or Toilet Paper Invitations -- Similar to the "Do It Yerself" version, only these are written on old newspapers, toilet paper, or old Christmas cards with the pictures crossed out (whatever you have on hand).

Decorating for a White Trash Bash

OUTSIDE

• Set out lots of lawn ornaments (flamingoes, gnomes, angels, or whatever you can get your mitts on)
  

• Make a toilet bowl planter -- An old toilet can be very versatile. It can be filled with dirt and used as a planter, or filled with ice and used as a beer cooler.
  

• Park cars haphazardly on the lawn
  

• Hang Christmas lights -- Inside or out, these scream party no matter the season!
  

• Scatter empty beer cans on the lawn -- We want people to feel at home...it is a party after all!
  

• Hang a laundry line -- String up old bras, holey socks, underwear and greasy tee shirts
  

• Use an inflatable kiddie pool as a beer cooler

• Hang toilet paper streamers
  

• Set out webbed lawn chairs
  

• Cover a few windows -- use newspaper and foil and hold things in place with duct tape
  

• Hang some art -- use crushed velvet paintings, posters of supermodels or NASCAR drivers, or a confederate flag
