Make your friends feel like they are headed to the speedway by decking out your home or party area. Here are some ideas to help you decorate for a NASCAR party theme:

Line your front walk with black and white checkered flags and orange traffic cones.
Hang a Welcome Race Fans Banner across your front door.
Have a favorite driver? Set up a life sized cut out and let them greet your guests!
Use a model race car as a centerpiece base to hold checkered racing flag balloons.

NASCAR PARTY ACTIVITIES

The main activity at your NASCAR party will probably be watching the race, but it's always more fun when you have some other activities to keep everyone involved. Here are some suggestions:

Organize a Pool -- Before the race starts, have your guests pick a driver's name out of a hat. If their driver wins the race, they win a prize!
Play a Timed Pit Stop Car Assembly Game -- Everyone knows that a good pit crew is an essential part of racing. For this activity, divide your guests into pit crew teams and give each one a NASCAR snap together car assembly kit.
